The National government has pledged to support the devolved units in improving Health and Agriculture. Presidential Advisor on Health Dr Augustine Cheruiyot who spoke in Bomet during the inspection of Mother and Baby facility said the two levels of government will work together to mainstream the two sectors under the bottom up economic model. He added that the government will ensure farmers get maximum profits through support to adopt modern technology. On his part, area Governor Prof Hillary Barchok lauded the shift from NHIF to SHA saying once the teething problems are sorted it will be of benefit to many more Kenyans.
