Mapping underway to identify all PWDs

The National Council for Persons with Disabilities is conducting a mapping exercise for persons with disabilities across the country to identify the number and types of disabilities present in different counties.The data from the registration process that involves filling out forms and providing necessary documents such as identification cards and medical reports will be used in planning and implementing disability-inclusive programs and policies. It will also enable the government to have accurate data on persons with disabilities for better planning and allocation of resources.
