Deputy President Kindiki Kithure has vowed to promote the ruling UDA party’s democracy and assist its party leader President William Ruto in running the political outfit. Kindiki replaces Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua who was removed from office last month. UDA party’s constitution designates the President as the Party Leader and the deputy president as the Deputy party leader respectively. However, according to the party officials, Gachagua will continue to be a member until he decides to resign.
