A section of women from the pastoralist communities in Samburu East, Samburu County are urging the government to increase allocation to the National Government Affirmative Action Fund and the Uwezo Fund so that more groups can benefit.According to Mathew Lengewa, NGAAF Administrator, the fund has helped 1,500 groups with a budget of 15 million shillings in cash. Lucy Lolosoli, a NGAAF beneficiary, lauded the fund, which she says has helped them earn their income while meeting their basic needs, among other things
