Cabinet Secretaries have been put on the spot for what senators term as habitual failure to honour invitations to appear before the house to respond to questions of national importance.Senators on Wednesday morning took issue with the absence of CS for Tourism and Wildlife Rebecca Miano and her Health counterpart Deborah Mulongo who had been invited to the senate chambers to shed more light on matters related to their ministries. According to the senators, there are concerns that require urgent responses from the CS such as the quagmire facing the Social Health Authority transition. The senate was forced to adjourn even as members called for a censure motion against the CSs.
