The County government of Busia has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Kenyatta International Conference Centre for international conferencing in the border county. Speaking during the launch, Busia Governor Paul Otuoma lauded the move saying the county now stands to benefit through international investors. He reiterated that it is an opportunity to expand the county tourism sector and blue economy both locally, regionally and internationally. KICC Chief Executive Officer James Mwaura noted that they are committed to ensuring every part of the country grows in terms of investment through conferencing.
