A Kilifi Court has begun hearing a case against two Italian nationals charged with obtaining over 32 million shillings by false pretense from two fellow Italians in the tourist resort town of Watamu in Kilifi County.The accused persons identified as Daniele Lo Coco and Massimo Nativi appeared before Judge Mukut Nangea, where they denied the charges. The two complainants Rita Nappo, and Cosmo Armeno, who are being represented by lawyer Ndegwa Njiru in the case, narrated to the court how they were defrauded through a forged a lease agreement to lease a villa resort in Watamu. The hearing is set to continue on Wednesday.
