The government has reiterated its commitment to eradicating gender-based violence (GBV) across the country.Speaking during the flag-off of a caravan that will tour Nairobi County to engage communities and advocate for an end to GBV ahead of the 16 Days of Activism against GBV campaign, Principal Secretary for Gender and Affirmative Action Anne Wang’ombe expressed concern over the increasing cases of violence against women and girls.The PS urged victims to report cases of abuse without fear, emphasizing the importance of collective action in addressing this issue. The 16 Days of Activism campaign, to run from November 25th to December 10th, seeks to raise awareness about GBV and mobilize communities to take meaningful action.
