The International Justice Mission has officially launched a centre to serve children and women who have experienced gender-based violence at the Mswambweni Police Station in Kwale County. The centre aims to enhance the confidence and capacity of officers dealing with such cases and create a supportive environment for survivors of gender-based violence. Men have also been warned against engaging in relationships with underage girls or vulnerable women.
