Former Homa Bay County Assembly Speaker Julius Gaya has been appointed the Political Advisor to Governor Gladys Wanga. Gaya had resigned from his position as speaker amid speculation of an impending impeachment by Members of the County Assembly. Speaking during an inspection of the modern fish market under construction in Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga, commended Gaya for his leadership at the assembly and expressed confidence in his ability to excel in the new role that had been vacant.
