A family in Mirera estate, Naivasha town Nakuru County is demanding justice following the brutal murder of their 15-year-old daughter; Valeria Njeri five years ago. The late girl's father John Ndunu says he is concerned by the pace of the legal process. John says in November 2019, the family woke up to find the lifeless body of their 15-year-old daughter lying in a pool of blood outside their family’s home in Mirera estate with multiple stab wounds. According to John, his daughter's crime was to reject the suspect’s sexual advances. The suspect, a 16-year-old boy, was arrested and later released. He made the reflections during a memorial service of their daughter at the family home in Nakuru County
