We begin with the brewing controversy over the Medical Equipment Leasing Scheme to the counties and tonight, President William Ruto has told governors that none of them was forced to sign up for the scheme and that governors voluntarily entered into agreements with suppliers. The president said there are 7 suppliers involved in the medical supplies scheme; remarks that come after some governors claimed they had been coerced to sign the contracts. And as Brenda Wanga reports that the ministry of health and the chair council of governors have also reiterated that the procurement was done properly.
