Majid Al Futtaim, the exclusive operator of Carrefour in Kenya, has launched its first Retail Business School in Nairobi. The facility is expected to deliver 12 tailored training programmes annually and train over 1,500 Carrefour employees by 2025, on technical skills, customer service and leadership. CEO Gunther Helm says the initiative is a testament to Carrefour’s commitment to investing in local talent and driving Kenya’s economic growth. Initially launched in the UAE in 2019, the business school concept now operates in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Kenya.
