The Indian multinational Adani Group, involved in construction and energy projects worldwide, is facing scrutiny following a recent US indictment. The company has also been accused of corruption in Kenya where it secured contracts worth about $2.5bn. It strongly denies the allegations. Nelson Amenya who exposed one of the deals says he is unable to return to Kenya, fearing for his safety.
