Inside the city ruled by over 100 gangs - BBC Africa

Haiti is a country on the brink of collapse. Its capital, Port-au-Prince, is almost entirely controlled by the gangs. The UN-sanctioned mission deployed there was meant to be a multi-nation effort with a contingent of 2,500 soldiers from seven different countries led by the Kenyan police. Six months later, only 400 Kenyan police officers have been deployed and the mission remains seriously underfunded.
