Both sides are today are going for each other’s jugular with conservationist demanding that the 16Km fence take a zigzag design such that some points are erected across River Timau to allow animals get water in the river. The conservationists have already lodged an appeal before the National Environmental Disputes Tribunal seeking to have the license issued to the investors by NEMA revoked. Our reporter Margaret Kimathi now tells us of the big battle for the gem of Laikipia plains between conservationists and investors.
