Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo has issued a stern warning to non-profit organizations against misusing donor funds to support illegal activities, including terrorism. Speaking during the launch of the terrorism financing risk assessment report for non-governmental organizations, Omollo emphasized the government’s heightened efforts to combat terrorism. These remarks come months after Kenya was added to the grey list by the financial action task force (fatf) over deficiencies in addressing money laundering and terrorism financing.
