Residents of Asa and Kone areas in Garsen Constituency, Tana River County, held peaceful protests, demanding justice for victims of alleged brutality by Kenya Wildlife Service officers.The residents allege that more than 10 people have been killed by rogue Kenya Wildlife Service officers since 2014 with several others injured and women raped. The latest case, is the killing of a 50-year-old herder Isack Jarso Delo who was allegedly shot by suspected KWS Officers at his home on December 30, 2024.
