Residents of Nyachenge in South Mugirango, Kisii county took to the streets to protest over the controversial release of three suspects accused of the brutal murder of a night security guard and his relative during a robbery at a local bar in the area. The suspects were arrested by detectives in Gucha South in connection to the attack that resulted in the deaths of 65-year-old John Otondi and his 19-year-old son Samuel Nyamatari on November 26, 2024.
