IG of Police Douglas Kanja defied court summons to address the recent wave of abductions

Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja once again defied court summons today, failing to appear and address the recent wave of abductions gripping the nation. Kanja was expected to appear before the High Court to shed light on the mysterious disappearances of six young people in December, out of whom five have since been reunited with their families. His legal representatives pleaded for leniency, citing an urgent security matter that required his immediate attention. However, the court has now issued a final warning—either the IG complies with the summons or faces the consequences
