Residents of Getare village, Bombaba in Bomachoge Borabu, are appealing to Kenya Power to restore power supply to the town. According to locals, the village has been in a black out for weeks, after poles supplying power to the town fell, cutting off the transmission line. The locals say power outage has increased cases of insecurity, as most schools, businesses and health centres are left in darkness.
