The kenya secondary schools heads association has raised concerns that schools may be forced to shut down just two weeks after reopening due to debts exceeding 30 million shillings per school. Moreover, learning has been paralyzed due to management boards' failure to pay teachers and suppliers. To address these challenges, KESSHA has called on the government to increase capitation. This comes as the government failed to disburse the full allocation last year, with each student receiving 7,000 shillings less than expected.
