Police officers have launched investigations into the death of a woman in Kimunyu village, Gatundu Town, Kiambu county, who was killed under mysterious circumstances. Reports indicate that 44-year-old Beth Muthoni Watuku had visited caves in the area for prayers before meeting her death. Police reports suggest that the woman was attacked and hit on the head with a blunt object, sustaining multiple injuries on various parts of her body, leading to her death. The area has since been cordoned off to allow for further investigations. this is the latest incident among 15 reported cases of femicide in the country since the beginning of the year.
