A section of youths in the Lucky Summer area of Nairobi have benefitted from a program aimed at transforming the lives of talented youths and helping combat crime, drug abuse, and other societal vices. The program dubbed Ringo Lucky Fest, serves as a platform to discover, nurture, and showcase the diverse talents of young people in the area. According to the program co-founder Victor Ocholla the initiative has inspired many of the youths to form self-help groups aimed at addressing critical social issues within the community with a focus on raising awareness on mental health and gender-based violence.
