Gavana wa kaunti ya Kwale Fatuma Achani ametangaza kusitishwa kwa ufadhili wa kimasomo katika kaunti hiyo kutokana na agizo la mahakama lililofuatia rufaa iliyowasilishwa na vuguvugu la Katiba Institute. Achani anasema agizo hilo la mahakama lilijiri baada ya mdhibiti wa bajeti Margaret Nyakang'o kufafanua kwamba ufadhili wa masomo sio sehemu ya majukumu yaliyogatuliwa kuambatana na ibara ya nne ya katiba ya Kenya. Akiongea katika makao makuu ya kaunti ya Kwale huko Matuga Achani alisema mpango huo chini ya mradi wa Elimu ni Sasa ambao ulizinduliwa mwaka 2013, umekuwa nguzo kuu ya kuleta mabadiliko katika maisha ya wanafunzi wengi kutoka familia zisizoweza kujimudu.
