This follows a report by the ethics and Anti-corruption Commission (EACC), which has documented a significant increase in bribery within the police service, particularly among traffic police officers to 75 %. The EACC report further reveals that many Kenyans are unduly paying over ksh 20,000 to receive services from police stations. .
