Ruto: Nairobi–Mau Summit Highway to feature 4 and 6 lanes to ease traffic

President Ruto: By next month, November, we will officially begin the construction of the highway from Nairobi (Rironi) through Nakuru to Mau Summit. However, I don’t want it to stop at Mau Summit. I want it extended to Kericho, Kisumu, Eldoret, and even Malaba. That road will have four lanes starting from Nairobi, through the expressway. Another route will pass through Mai Mahiu, and the two roads will meet in Naivasha. From Naivasha to Nakuru, the road will be expanded to six lanes. We are expanding it because we’ve seen there will be heavy traffic.
