The Health Department in Mandera County has launched a five-day polio vaccination campaign in an effort to boost immunity among children and prevent potential outbreaks of the virus. The exercise, which runs from February 21st to 25th targets over 200,000 children under the age of five across the county. Mandera County Chief Officer for public Health, Mukhtar Isaack urged parents and guardians to ensure their children receive the polio jab.
