The chairperson person of the Betting Control and Licensing Board (BCLB) Dr. Jane Mwikali Makau has urged widows in Makueni County to form registered groups to access government and organization support for a better future While speaking in Makueni the chairperson said that by working together, widows can access financial aid, resources and opportunities from the government and other organizations. She was addressing widows at Kako Primary School in Mbooni East, Makueni County. Dr Makau distributed foodstuff to more than 200 widows. She highlighted the importance of economic and social empowerment in helping widows overcome challenges and encouraged community support to uplift their lives.
