In a move that is set to take the nation in a different political direction, president William Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga have signed a memorandum of understanding which they say is aimed at tackling kenya's most pressing social, economic, and political challenges. the deal, sealed in a ceremony at the KICC, prioritises the implementation of the national dialogue committee (NADCO) report, with Raila pushing for an increase in county funding to four hundred and fifty billion. The two leaders insisted that the move is not a strategy for the 2027 elections or a coalition but for the interest of Kenyans.
