Alego Usonga Member of Parliament Sam Atandi is the new chairperson for the National Assembly Budget And Appropriations Committee. Committee members unanimously elected Atandi replacing Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro while Endebess Member of Parliament Robert Pukose was elected vice-chairperson replacing his Teso South counterpart Mary Emasse. Butere Member of Parliament Tindi Mwale was elected chairperson of the watchdog Public Accounts Committee and will be deputized by Garissa County Woman Member of the National Assembly Amina Udgoon.
