Over 100 public and private medical training institutions have united under the banner of the Association of Medical Training Institutions, Kenya (AMTI) to address the growing gap in medical training opportunities across the country. Association of Medical Training Institutions, President Dennis Oketch says the new initiative aims to provide an alternative pathway for students who have been unable to secure a place at the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC), often due to limited opportunities.
