Senate Speaker Amason Kingi Defends Kawira Mwangaza's Impeachment, Urges MCAs to Strengthen Cases

Senate speaker Amason Kingi has defended the senate over the impeachment of former Meru governor Kawira Mwangaza noting that their decision was entirely based on evidence provided by Meru County Assembly. Speaking during the launch of the impeachment manual, Kingi stressed the need for members of county assemblies to equip themselves with knowledge on impeachment to avoid presenting weak motions.
