An International Non-profit Organisation is advocating for the use of bicycles as a sustainable and efficient means of transport to combat mobility poverty. During a World Bicycle Relief Mobility and Impact forum in Nairobi the World Bicycle Relief officials revealed that bicycles have improved access to essential services, boosted economic productivity and enhanced social mobility for rural communities across Africa where motorized transport is a challenge. The Organisation is urging policymakers to adopt targeted strategies to address mobility poverty.
