War on vandalism : Projects worth Ksh 52 million have been vandalized in Makueni

Projects worth 52 million shillings have been vandalized in Makueni County in the last two years. During his development tour in Kyambeke, Kaiti constituency, Governor Mutula Kilonzo Jnr appealed to residents to protect the initiatives in their areas and collaborate with security teams to apprehend those responsible for the destruction. Governor Kilonzo emphasized that he has taken measures to tackle the menace, including a directive to solarize all county projects, install security lights, incorporate CCTV cameras, and replace metallic pipes with plastic ones to deter vandalism.
