At Least 1,448 traders in Kitengela town, Kajiado County, will be resettled next week in a modern 60 million shillings market after six years of waiting in a makeshift market. Kajiado county officials led by Chief Executive Committee Member for trade Leah Marias, say the original list of genuine traders will be followed in the resettlement without any discrimination. The traders were relocated into the temporary market within the township stadium in 2019 to pave the way for the construction of the modern two-storey retail market by the devolved unit.
