A section of female military veterans are calling on the government to streamline the Veterans Bill of 2022, meant to enhance a smooth transition from the service to civilian life. The retired officers operating under the umbrella of females of valor Association of Kenya say incorporating all the officers, including those who left the service before the enactment of the bill will alleviate various challenges they face when reintegrating into civilian life.
