The Government has issued a stern warning to politicians and contractors interfering with the execution of public projects, saying those involved in irregular procurement, stalled works, or misuse of funds will be banned and prosecuted.The Deputy Chief of Staff in charge of Delivery and Government Efficiency, Eliud Owalo has also emphasized that only competent and credible contractors will be allowed to implement public projects. He made the remarks during an inspection and verification tour of national government projects among them the Siyoi-Muruny dam in West Pokot county and the Suam One-Stop border post in Trans Nzoia county.
