64 children with hearing impairment are set to have their hearing restored, following the donation of cochlear implants, by Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Asma of Morocco.The surgical procedures will kick off on Monday at the Kenyatta National Hospital and Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital, targeting children below the age of five years. Speaking during the handover of the devices to the Ministry of Health at Statehouse, First Lady Rachael Ruto said the implants are a gift of sound, connection and renewed possibilities to the beneficiaries, who will get a new phase of life.
