The Ministry of health has instituted an audit to verify all pending NHIF Claims in order to address the backlog of unpaid medical bills by the defunct Fund. While launching the verification committee, Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale warned that the committee members will take personal responsibility for any claims that will be fraudulently paid.
