Labour and Social Protection Cabinet Secretary Dr. Alfred Mutua has announced that legal action is being taken against unlicensed and dishonest recruitment agencies that take advantage of job seekers. Speaking in Mombasa County during a Labour Migration Advisory Group meeting, Dr. Mutua, said all registered recruitment agencies are now required to refund payments if job opportunities abroad are cancelled or delayed.
