Lack of data, low number of neurologists, stigma and misinformation remain the main hindrances to the Country’s quest to manage Parkinson’s disease burden. With the disease affecting millions of people worldwide, anti-Parkinson's disease crusaders in the Country met in Nairobi on Saturday to push for the improvement of the lives of patients living with the condition through research, advocacy and support. Joseph Wakhungu attended the Parkinson’s disease awareness and filed this report.
