President William Ruto's Lawyer during the 2022 Election Petition Melissa Ngania has denied any conflict of interest if appointed as an IEBC commissioner saying that the President was only her client and that they do not have a personal relationship. Ngania who is among the IEBC nominees for the position of commissioner appeared just days after President William Ruto's Lawyer Katwa Kigen withdrew from the vetting process. Another Nominee Mary Njeri Mburu was grilled for quitting her previous job with Kenya pipeline due to work pressure.
