A section of Coffee farmers in Kiambu County have opposed the new regulations that provide for payment through M-Pesa. The farmers who met at Ndumberi stadium said the new model will cause the collapse of societies and factories. The coffee farmers also want all coffee farming activities, including the disbursement of subsidized farm inputs be decentralized to the factory level for easy reach.
