The government has resorted to regular youth consultative meetings as a proactive strategy to communicate its programmes for the young people. Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Interior and National Administration, Dr. Raymond Omollo, says the move seeks to enhance the participation of young Kenyans in the country’s governance to avert similar events witnessed last year when the Gen Z orchestrated protests against the Finance Bill 2024.
