Residents of Kawangware received much-needed free medical services today, thanks to a partnership between St. Peter's Orthopaedic and surgical specialist centre, and radio citizen. Speaking at the event held at the D.O Grounds, nurse Kwamboka from St. Peter’s expressed gratitude for the successful initiative, describing it as a way of giving back to the community. The free medical camp offered consultations, treatments, dental services, eye clinic check-ups, and free medication provided by St. Peter’s hospital. Many residents who could not otherwise afford healthcare or medication without paying out of pocket or using insurance were able to receive quality services at no cost.
