The search for two middle-aged men who drowned in River Isiukhu in Shinyalu constituency Kakamega County, is still ongoing. Local divers have been deployed to assist retrieval of the bodies of 36-year-old Henry Kisiangàni, who allegedly jumped into the river after his dismissal from work, and his friend Francis Mudoho, who attempted to save him but tragically drowned. Families of the victims are calling on well-wishers to assist them, even as authorities say they are doing everything in their power to expedite the matter.
