In a charged address in Mathira, Nyeri County yesterday, Deputy President Kithure Kindiki warned his political critics not to misjudge his calm demeanor as weakness, insisting that his focus remains firmly on national development. Kindiki emphasized that he’s “a man on a mission,” rejecting calls to engage in fruitless political sparring and insisting the government will not be derailed by opposition noise.
He reaffirmed his loyalty to President William Ruto, declaring his duty is to support development not to pick political fights and doubling down on the need to stay productive and avoid dangerous political distractions.

Kindiki also highlighted the administration’s dedication to building infrastructure, completing stalled projects, and focusing on service delivery rather than engaging in “useless politics.”
