SONY SUGAR WORKERS HALT OPERATIONS OVER CONTRACT TERMINATION AND UNPAID SALARIES

Workers at Sony Sugar Company have downed their tools in protest over what they describe as unlawful termination of contracts and the non-payment of salaries for the past two months. Led by their representative, Noah Opiyo, the workers said they are demanding full settlement of all salary arrears and benefits before the government-imposed exit deadline of October 31, 2025.
