The County Government of Kilifi will this financial year spend about Sh800 million to improve the devolved unit’s road network, Acting County Secretary Philip Charo said Thursday.
Mr. Charo, who is also the County Chief Officer for Roads and Transport, said the county administration was undertaking road construction projects in various parts of the vast county, with a bias toward urban centres where roads are being paved with concrete blocks and tarmac.
He said this after officially handing over the site for the construction of phase three of the Goshi-Madunguni road in Kakuyuni, which is expected to cost approximately Sh40 million to a contractor
